Vipdoor respects copyright. This page describes how to send a notice about material on vipdoor.org that you believe infringes your copyright.

Notices for vipdoor.org

If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe content on this Site infringes your work, send a notice through the Contact form. Put “DMCA” or “Copyright” in the subject so the desk can route it quickly.

Confirm the URL first

Open the Vipdoor page or article at issue and copy its full URL. Notices that point only to a search snippet or a third-party mirror are harder to review.

What to include

A helpful notice usually includes:

  • Your contact name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  • The exact URL(s) on vipdoor.org where the material appears.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens after Vipdoor receives a notice

Vipdoor will review the report and may remove or disable access to material when appropriate. We may contact you for clarification. Counter-notification procedures may apply where the law provides for them.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can create legal liability. Send notices only for material you are entitled to claim.
